The time of power collaborations is now. With this, Fendace, a partnership between Fendi and Versace which was first announced in September 2021, takes shape as a unique moment in fashion with the whole collection finally going on sale May 12.
For the project, designers Kim Jones, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and Donatella Versace come together to reimagine their brands. “It’s a swap rather than a collaboration and, most of all, it is done out of friendship,” says Kim Jones, artistic director of Fendi Couture and Womenswear. “It is the beauty of togetherness after time apart and a celebration of women who have inspired me so much.”
Shot by Steven Meisel and filmed by Alex Maxwell, the Fendace campaign follows a glamorous cast of supermodels entering a nightclub. Adut Akech, Amar Akway, Anja Rubik, Anok Yai, Imaan Hamman, Lina Zang, Kristen McMenamy, and Naomi Campbell helm the campaign all decked in the must-have Fendace branded looks.

“The campaign captures the same sense of friendship and fun I had when working on this project with Kim, Silvia, and the team at Fendi. To me, Fendace will always mean love,” quips Donatella Versace, chief creative officer at Versace.
Handbag pieces to covet include the Fendace Peekaboo and Baguette, styles that combine the iconic Fendi silhouettes with Versace’s codes, and Fendace La Medusa handbags, where the Fendi FF logo meets Versace’s Medusa emblem.
The collection was launched through a series of global pop-ups and events. To purchase online, the brands’ e-stores have select collections with Fendi carrying Versace by Fendi and Versace selling Fendi by Versace. A capsule collection of Fendace is also available on both fashion houses.
In the Philippines, the collection launch date is yet to be announced.
