Louis Vuitton’s new unisex fragrance is an ode to Los Angeles by night

Welcome to the ‘City of Stars’

Louis Vuitton offers a new evening cologne called “City of Stars” to its growing list of unisex fragrances.

Inspired by California by night, the new fragrance which comes in a gradient purple, pink, and orange bottle is curated by Louis Vuitton’s perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The key notes of “City of Stars” include blood orange, lemon, red mandarin, bergamot, lime, and tiare accord making every spray a burst of refreshing citrus.

“As darkness falls, the city’s lights surge in a sensual olfactory tableau. A citrus quintet dazzles like a thousand flashbulbs: lemon, blood orange, red mandarin, bergamot and lime swirl and dance, gradually succumbing to the Tiaré flower’s voluptuous embrace,” the brand describes.

For the visuals, LV tapped artist Alex Israel for the bespoke artwork which can be seen on the box and travel cases featuring L.A. cityscape during a hot pink and violet sunset. Alex has worked with LV since 2019 on a textile collection also featuring his vibrant branding.

“City of Stars” is available in 100ml and 200ml spray bottles and refillable in Louis Vuitton stores equipped with perfume fountains.
