Paul Smith spring-summer 2022 takes us under the Tuscany sky

It’s all about free spirit and bright days ahead

The craving for freedom was very apparent during the shows and presentations this season. Another designer who centered on post-pandemic fashion was Paul Smith.

Longing for his home in Tuscany, Italy, where he was not able to live for the first time in 30 years, the designer based his pieces on this sanctuary. Dreaming about this haven, he translated garments dipped in the shades of the Tuscany sky, his terracotta house, and outdoor adventures in the countryside.

The post-lockdown wardrobe involved easy-to-wear pieces, roomy silhouettes, and outdoor garments like camping and mountaineering get-ups with a street style twist. Another inspiration of the collection was Paul Smith’s love for cycling, resulting in updated pieces with the brand’s signature stripes.
