Rejoice, for we have found the holy grail of hard-to-get streetwear pieces in the heart of Bonifacio Global City! Basement 5 is a contemporary retail space which curates the most covetable pieces from streetwear giants like Supreme, Palace, and Kith.
Located on the second floor of the Blue Sapphire Residences, Basement 5 first opened its doors to streetwear patrons back in April 24, 2021. For exclusivity and safety purposes, the shop takes private viewing for 15-minute time slots or 10-minute video calls if clients would like to request a presentation. Limited-edition pieces from Nike, Yeezy, and Jordan’s are also available in this specialty store.

What sets you apart from other specialty stores in the Philippines?
Our product selection, identity, and direction as a brand is what we believe makes us unique from our peers. Our target was to speak to a different audience, we’ve wanted to curate a nice balance of limited-edition products and present it differently to the market here.
What brand can only be bought in Basement 5?
Palace and Kith aren’t really offered here in Manila. We also brought in a new brand from South Korea called PeaceMinusOne. It’s a lifestyle brand launched by artists G-Dragon and Bigbang. We have more things coming soon so stay tuned.
What is the most hard-to-find item that you guys are able to acquire?
For apparel, the hard-to-find items that stand out that we’ve acquired are the Supreme Swarovski Box Logo Hoodie and Supreme Murakami Box Logo Shirt for COVID-19 relief campaign. For footwear, it’s the Dior x Jordan 1s and Air Jordan 1s Travis Scott x Fragment. And for accessories, it would be the Supreme SMEG Mini Ref and Supreme Vitra Chair.

Our top picks for 2021: What the P-Rod SB’s, Aime Leon Dore New Balance 550, and Nike SB Dunk Low Supreme Stars. They’re all extremely different from one another, but you can tell the design approach for each one was authentic.
