ICYMI: Yeezy x Gap’s first drop is a blue marvel
The announcement even coincided with Kanye West’s birthday
After a year of excitement regarding the Yeezy x Gap collection, the collaboration has now been cemented with the drop of its first merch, a blue puffer jacket!
In time for Kanye’s birthday last June 8, 2021, Gap wiped out its entire Instagram feed and placed a spotlight on the YZY drop by posting a single photo on its account. The now-deleted post featured the “Round Jacket,” a unisex puffer jacket made from recycled nylon material in cobalt blue.
The YZY jacket, available on Gap’s website for its US customers, was listed for $200 before it sold out. The item may no longer be viewed on the website as of now but Yeezy fans were already able to screenshot the “Round Jacket” with the website’s description for the merch. See below:

Before the drop was made official on Gap’s website, Kanye popped out in public wearing the “Round Jacket” on June 3, 2021 but had no suggestion it was a part of the collection.
