CALVIN KLEIN X ANDY WARHOL FOUNDATION
When Raf Simons had acquired the licensing rights to Andy Warhol’s artworks, it allowed him to use the images across the whole Calvin Klein line and its collections in the label’s spring 2018 collection. It won’t be the last crossover work between the two, as the Simons-Warhol connection will continue on until 2020.
Created in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation, Warhol’s artworks find new life in garments and accessories featured throughout the Spring 2018 CALVIN KLEIN #205W39NYC collection. Silkscreened by hand, the collection includes intimate portraits of the artist's muses—like Warhol confidante art collector Sandra Brant and archetypal counterculture hero Dennis Hopper—as well the luridly macabre images from his Death and Disaster series. ⠀⠀⠀ Andy Warhol artworks ©/®/™ The Andy Warhol Foundation and ™ Hopper Goods, LLC.
