Here’s one reason why you should check out ‘Let It Out’

It’s Pride month, and many brands are releasing their own Pride campaigns. While some still consider these campaigns as mere cash grabs, it’s important to closely examine Calvin Klein’s initiatives towards the LGBTQIA+ community.

Aligned with Calvin Klein’s year-round support for the LGBTQIA+ community, the brand has reported a commitment of over $220,000 to NGOs, including PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) National, ILGA (The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Association) World, Transgender Law Center, and more in 2023 to date. Additionally, Calvin Klein Australia and the PVH (Phillips-Van Heusen) Foundation have donated $55,000 to the BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation this year.

To further support the community, Calvin Klein has launched a campaign called “Let It Out,” which celebrates the sensual self-expression of LGBTQIA+ members. The campaign features actors Amandla Stenberg and Brandon Flynn in the 2023 “This Is Love” collection, with photography by Karim Sadli.

You may recognize Amandla from the comedy horror film “Bodies Bodies Bodies” and the sci-fi action film “The Darkest Minds.” As for Brandon, he has appeared in the hit series “13 Reasons Why,” Ryan Murphy’s “Ratched,” and the 2022 horror film “Hellraiser.”
