First, the Netflix series “The Sandman,” which launches on August 5, recently released more teasers for excited viewers. Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman, “The Sandman” shows a place where dreams and realities collide due to the unexpected capture of the “Master of Dreams” as played by Tom Sturridge.

The story stars Dream, who must put order to the different worlds and timelines where he will meet previous foes, friends, and new entities. The newly released teaser also showed actor Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth on “Game of Thrones,” as Lucifer who is Dream’s sworn enemy.

For “The School for Good and Evil,” Netflix shared the date for the movie as well as the other cast members led by Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, and Michelle Yeoh. The star-studded fantasy film will circle around the forces of light and dark as two misfits and best friends Sofie and Agatha get mistakenly dropped-off to the wrong schools respectively. This title is also based on a series by Soman Chainani which is adapted by Paul Feig for the streaming service.

Aside from the three lead ladies mentioned above, the film also lists Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, Laurence Fishburne, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, and Earl Cave, who are set to survive their own fairy-tales come Oct. 21, 2022.
