Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Day 2: Prints, textures, and a whole lot of emotions
Here are the top looks from the season 12 runway collections
For day two of the Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival, six designers showcased their talent in diverse techniques and signature styles for their runway presentations. Ann Semblante’s “Haute Goth” dove deep in dark colored silhouettes highlighted by her corset creations. Next, Bamba Limon took us to the great safari with his “The Out of Africa” collection peacocking animal and tribal prints. For Dino Lloren, he showcased “Valor” starring the colors of the Philippine flag with white, blue, red, and yellow. Joshua Guibone sparked up the show with his “Metallic Mutiny,” flaunting various prints and brocades in shiny cut-out fabrics. Edgar Buyan showcased a complexity of textures while matching prints and colors into one collection. Lastly, Ziggy Savella zeroed into a modern utilitarian wardrobe, mixing signature elements with new silhouettes.
