These siblings show that style runs in the family

The Olsen twins, Dsquared2’s Dean and Dan Caten, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, even Paris and Nicky Hilton are only a few of the siblings who made a bid on the fashion scene and are winning (well, some of them). And I get it: With whom else would you rather share the spotlight than your best frenemy—someone you’ve dealt with and lived in the same house with for most of your whole life?

Dynamic duo appearances, may it be on the runway, in ad campaigns, in magazine spreads, and on the red carpet, can actually be more interesting than romantic pairings, because at least you know it won’t be just a sappy love fest between two good-looking people. There could be catty moments and inside jokes, maybe a bit of drama, and always that filial support.

Here, we round up sets of siblings who have made an impact on fashion and culture, for good and for bad, by making it a double act.

First up, the twins we first saw on TV way back in the ’90s courtesy of the sitcom Full House and then in film (New York Minute, anyone?), but never on Instagram, that’s why the above links are from an unofficial account. From sharing credit as Michelle Tanner in Full House, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen went on to become the new icons of the “homeless” aesthetic, a.k.a. the fancy “Derelicte” look, a.k.a. boho-chic: flowing skirts, slouchy sweaters, oversized sunglasses, vintage layers, and boots. It’s a totally different aesthetic from what their fashion labels The Row and Elizabeth and James present, which are tailored and clean, but the difference actually shows the twins’ broad vision for fashion and design. In fact, the two have received recognition multiple times from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), such as the Womenswear of the Year and Accessory Designer of the Year awards. One thing to look forward from the Olsens? A pre-fall ’18 menswear collection, their first for The Row.

Remember when we put the Style Spotlight on the Brant brothers? The brothers who hang out only with anybody who is a Somebody? The brand that supermodel Stephanie Seymour gave birth to? Peter and Harry Brant are #goals not only because of the Wonderland-like world they live in but also because of how they support one another.

From one supermodel dynasty to another: Here we have Cindy Crawford’s progeny, models Kaia, 17, and Presley Gerber, 18. The two have appeared in campaigns for fashion brands Omega and Calvin Klein and designer labels Balmain, Bottega Veneta, and Burberry.

This sibling supermodel duo is brought to us by Yolanda Hadid and David Foster. Gigi and Bella Hadid have walked side by side on the runway for Versace, Fendi, Ana Sui, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and it’s hard not to notice their tight bond. Especially given the drama that runs in their circle, it’s nice that these two are able to work with someone whom they know will always have their back.

Let us introduce you to the double trouble twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark. Originally from Australia, they are represented internationally by IMG models and are taking over the world of fashion, well-being, and lifestyle with the launch of their  channel Stenmark.Life.

More than a model who has graced the covers of Vogue, L’Officiel, and Harper’s Bazaar and the runways of Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, and Alexander Wang, Lily Aldridge is also a big sister to Ruby who is making a name for herself in the industry.

You know these two Klan members already so they don’t need any introduction. With Kendall Jenner a model and Kylie Jenner a beauty mogul, and the multiple endorsements and ad campaigns between them, these sisters show no signs of stopping the growth of the Kardashian-Jenner empire anytime soon.
