MUST-SEE: Show of lights at the newly unveiled Parklinks Bridge

The new landmark connects Quezon City and Pasig City over the Marikina River

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) and Eton Properties Philippines, Inc. (EPPI) offer the greenest urban estate in Metro Manila with Parlinks Estate. With 50 percent of the land dedicated to open spaces, the new landmark promises a renewed way of life, work, and play.
One of the estate’s notable features is the Parklinks Bridge which connects Quezon City and Pasig City. The link features a 40-meter high arch that diagonally spans the 110-meter long and 25-meter wide road deck structure that connects both cities over the Marikina River. ALI and EPPI envision a functional landmark as well as a space for pedestrians and bikers to enjoy safe and convenient commute within and around the urban hub.

“Both parties believe it is important to find a balance between profitability and sustainability, and our shared belief led us to create an estate that will introduce a new way of urban living,” says Robert Lao, senior vice president and group head of Ayala Land Estates, during the inauguration. On behalf of Hon. Joy Belmonte, mayor of Quezon City, Hon. Gian Sotto, vice Mayor of Quezon City, shares, “This bridge will undoubtedly become a popular tourist destination in addition to acting as a connecting structure.”
In line with the unveiling, the group that brought the Festival of Lights in Ayala Triangle Gardens will also be handling the lights show at the bridge during the Christmas season. Pasigueños and Quezon City residents, as well as other visitors, are all welcome to gather and discover the newest Ayala Land development while enjoying the holiday festivities. The Parkinks Bridge of Lights runs hourly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, until Jan. 7, 2023.

Hon. Vico Sotto says, “When we look at this property of Parklinks, what we see is actually the last big open space in our city. It was great news for us that we will be maintaining the open spaces, we will be developing the river sides, and we will be maintaining the green spaces, if not improving on them.”
The development also introduces a new standard for waterfront living with ALI’s flagship residential brands—Ayala Land Premier and Alveo. Ayala Land Premier has previously launched Parklinks North and South Towers, while Alveo has launched The Lattice Tower 1.
