‘The Kangks Show’ is the hottest and sexiest series on WeTV this year. Here’s why

The December weather may be colder than ever but this new series from WeTV is set to make audiences feel steamy and giggly as the streaming service launches one of their hottest and sexiest shows this year, “The Kangks Show.”

Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, the series stars Angelica Panganiban who plays a feisty sex guru named Dr. Kara Teo. The story revolves around the doctor’s long-running midnight sex advice program and the show’s new competitor hosted by Gen-Z influencer Cassandra as played by actress Maris Racal. Aside from this competition, JC de Vera and Kit Thompson also add to Dr. Kara’s life drama as they contend for her affections.

Director Antoinette expressed her thoughts on Angelica being the only choice for the role. “Si Angge, if hindi nya tinanggap ‘to, wala yung show. Change concept. Sya lang yung naisip ko to play doc Kara,” she shares.

Over eight episodes starting this Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, the cast will be joined by actress Angelica Agbayani as well as colorful characters who will be in need of Dr. Kara’s advice. The roster also includes Sheenly Gener, Yesh Burce, Arkin del Rosario, Mariella Laurel, Teetin Villanueva, Carlon Matobato, Mean Espinosa, Phi Palmos, Kych Minemoto, Abed Green, AJ Sison, Rachel Coates, Gene Padilla, Dolly de Leon, and Awra Briguela.
