LOOK: Every Givenchy look BTS wore at the AMAs 2021
It’s a big win for the boy band and the Army
Last Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, the 49th annual American Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Big winners of the night were Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B (who also hosted the show), and of course, everyone’s favorite, BTS.
The boy band, who bagged one of the most coveted awards in AMAs with Artist of the Year, marks history as they become the first Asian act to do so. Accepting the award were all seven of them wearing ensembles designed by Matthew M. Williams for the house of Givenchy, featuring the maison’s collaboration with graphic artist Chito.
Jungkook wore a black knitted cardigan with black cotton oversized t-shirt and black and white cotton ripped trousers. Jin appeared in layers of military green t-shirt and long sleeves printed with dog and boy visuals from Givenchy’s NFT-inspired collection. J-hope wore another Chito-printed coordinates of black denim jacket and pants. RM opted for a 4G motif leather jacket, shorts, and boots while Suga donned a green oversized cotton hoodie and matching pants. V, who stood out wearing a red bandana on his head, also wore a leather jacket paired with pants while Jimin sparkled in an oversized printed-top and layered gold and silver Chito ball chain necklace.
In the Philippines, Givenchy is located at Shangri-La Plaza mall, Greenbelt 4, and Solaire Resort & Casino.
