Kaws x Sacai powers up with Nike Blazer Low release
This sneaker is a triple threat!
Nope, you’re not having double or triple vision! The wearable art offering of Kaws x Sacai extends to one more household name in the game, Nike.
Last week, Kaws wearable art collaboration with Sacai made headlines in the fashion and art world. Now sneakerheads are in the loop because a new collaboration between these iconic brands has given life to Nike’s Blazer Low.
Coming in two bright colorways of red and blue, the sneaker features stacked and layered elements true to Chitose Abe’s signature design. The Nike Blazer low features layered shoelaces, tongues, eyestays, and Swooshes. It also features the “XX’ motif of Kaws which can be seen on the sole.
Kaws posted a teaser about this capsule saying, “I’m happy to finally be able to share this collaborative project I worked on with @sacaiofficial. I consider Chitose Abe a friend and I’m thankful she’s welcomed my work into her creative world. This project was a fun one and I hope you enjoy it…Sacai Kaws collection launching July 2021. Introducing the new Nike x Sacai – Sacai x Kaws Blazer low.”
The throuple has yet to announce the availability of this drop.
