The legend of Geralt of Rivia and Prince Ciri continues with the second season of “The Witcher.” Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy books, “The Witcher” stars Henry Cavill in an epic series of monsters, magic, and fate. For the upcoming season, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan also return to reprise their roles as Yennefer and Ciri, respectively.
On July 10, 2021, Netflix released its first teaser trailer for “The Witcher,” with a global premiere date slated for December 17, 2021. Watch the preview below:
At the same time, Netflix also premiered WitcherCon, a global virtual celebration of “The Witcher.” The three-hour digital convention was streamed on both Netflix and CD Projekt Red’s YouTube and Twitch channels. From cast interviews to musical acts, the WitcherCon definitely gave an in-depth peek into the series’ magical world.
