Take a look at these re-edition pieces from Lacoste by Bleu Mode
They’re ‘90s-inspired and sustainable as well
The crocodile branding of Lacoste is one of the most notable and iconic symbols of classic and vintage luxury in courts and the music scene. For this collaboration, the French company teams up with French creative Julien Boudet, aka Bleu Mode, to reinvent some of the house’s signature classics drawn from its archives.
Photographer Bleu Mode shares his history with the brand saying, “I’ve always been a Lacoste fan. I collect the pieces, I hunt for them, I wear them… Twenty years ago, I dreamed of those Lacoste outfits that I saw in the windows of stores in Sète, my small hometown. At the time, they seemed inaccessible to me. I never thought I would have the chance to collaborate with Lacoste one day.”
For this collaboration, Bleu Mode gave his own twist to 10 styles from the archives. From pullovers, zip-up jackets, and polo shirts to caps and socks, these limited-edition pieces are all hand-numbered by Julien himself and are all eco-friendly due to its recycled production nature. With this team up, Lacoste offers a rediscovery of these historical pieces in new silhouettes and effervescent energy.
