Anwar Hadid releases his own jewelry line
It’s not easy having two models as sisters, especially when they rank as seventh and eighth in Forbes’ current list of highest paid models. But that is life for Anwar Hadid. The 19-year-old himself is a model, making his debut in Nylon magazine in 2015 and signed under IMG, the same agency that handles his sisters’—Bella and Gigi, of course—careers. If you’ve ever wondered how dinner usually goes between these siblings, watch this video.

Hadid is doing something that might further define his identity separate from his famous sisters’, though: a jewelry line created in partnership with artist Yoni Laham, which they have been working on for the past two years. “Committed to exploring new concepts in jewelry while upholding [the] tradition [of] collaborating with the most skillful artisans in Los Angeles to create timeless pieces for men and women, with collector’s appeal,” as stated on the brand’s website, Martyre is a unisex line of minimalist rings, earrings, neckpieces, and bracelets that are crafted in .925 silver and engraved with phrases such as “Every sinner dies a saint” and “Pray for us.” Patrons will also have the option to have the jewelry done in gold or rose gold by request. “Jewelry is something that you can have for the rest of your life,” Hadid has said about his pursuit in a statement.
Martyre’s black-and-white campaign was shot in Los Angeles by Kevin Ohana, with the pieces worn by Hadid, Georgia Fowler, and Abdulaye Niang.
