OnePlus taps multi-awarded film music composer Hans Zimmer for collaboration

The composer is known for his works on “Dune,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “The Dark Knight Trilogy”

Attention, audiophiles! Here’s a partnership you won’t want to miss. OnePlus has recently teamed up with music composer Hans Zimmer to provide the highest quality of audio for the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2, perfect for those who appreciate spatial audio and good music.

Named “Soundscape,” the customized Master EQ has fewer low frequencies than the default setting, resulting in a brighter and wider sound field. OnePlus has also claimed that the setting will enable listeners to experience the full orchestral sound of a classical symphony and the multi-dimensional sound of an action film. The global tech company has also promised that users will hear the intricate and delicate nuances of film scores in full glory and feel the full emotional impact of the music.

“The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is one of the first TWS earbuds to adopt Google’s signature spatial audio function developed on Android 13,” OnePlus stated. “By integrating Google’s spatial audio framework, the rendering algorithm, and OnePlus’ advanced stereo up-mixing algorithm, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offers a customized spatial audio experience through a wide sound field and clear vocals that heighten the cinematic atmosphere while watching videos. When playing music, users can expect a clear and natural sound, as well as an immersive listening experience similar to that of a live concert, particularly when the earbuds are paired with the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone.”
