‘Mediterranean Escape’ is the vacation energy your luggage’s been waiting for

A sun-soaked palette meets everyday travel essentials

We’ve all been there: the frantic rush to the gate, the mental checklist of chargers, and the sudden realization that we’ve forgotten the most important part of travel—the actual enjoyment of it. For spring 2026, Tumi is gently suggesting a different itinerary. Their latest collection, “Mediterranean Escape,” isn’t just about getting from point A to point B; it’s about the sensory richness of the “in-between.”

Forget the sea of black luggage at the carousel. This season, the brand pulls directly from the sun-drenched landscapes of Mallorca and the Amalfi Coast. Imagine the sculpted ridges of the iconic 19 Degree Collection reimagined in lush thyme greens, sun-washed terracotta, and a radiant sunlit yellow. If you’re a purist, the Aluminum International Carry-On in Horizon Blue captures that exact moment where the sky meets the sea—a depth of color that makes even a business trip feel slightly more like a holiday.

The collection goes beyond visual appeal, leaning heavily into artisanal textures. The newly expanded Olas and Harrison Collections feature raffia-inspired capsules that bring a woven, organic warmth to Tumi’s signature modern construction. It’s a nod to open-air markets and the tactile nature of a slower, more intentional rhythm of travel. Even the smallest details, like olive and lemon-inspired bag charms, serve as sensory souvenirs of a Mediterranean summer.

While the aesthetic is relaxed, the engineering remains as precise as ever. The new Mediterranean Print adds a bold energy to the Voyageur and Tegra-Lite lines without compromising the durability the brand is known for. As Creative Director Victor Sanz puts it, it’s about “traveling while fully experiencing every moment.” It’s a reminder that while your luggage is built for the journey, it’s designed for the escape.
