Get to know the newest ‘Angel’ from the House of Mugler
Angel Elixir has just fallen from the Mugler galaxy
The Mugler craze is far from over as the latest fragrance from the house of Mugler has just been released.
A week ago, the anticipation among fashion enthusiasts reached its peak for Mugler’s latest collaborative project. The following day, fragrance enthusiasts joined the excitement as the newest addition to the house’s fragrance lineup was unveiled.
Introducing Angel Elixir, the latest fragrance release from the Mugler galaxy. Angel Elixir draws inspiration from the award-winning original Angel fragrance, which was launched 30 years ago. While it shares the same family of notes, fragrance creators Anne Flipo and Domitille Michalon-Bertier ensured that Angel Elixir is a transformative woody-floral gourmand scent that stands out on its own.
Encased in a deep blue star-shaped refillable bottle, the fragrance features spicy pink pepper, sensual white flowers such as ylang-ylang and orange blossom absolute, co-distilled Caledonia sandalwood, jasmine for a creamy blend, and AmberXtreme, which gives the fragrance an empowering trail.
For the campaign, “Euphoria” star Hunter Schafer takes the spotlight. Mugler fashion’s creative director, Casey Cadwallader, expressed his excitement, saying, “Working with Hunter is a dream. For years, I have dreamed of her being our Angel. She is beautiful both inside and out. She radiates energy and creativity. Her positivity touches everyone around her, making her the perfect fit for Mugler.”
Casey, along with ad agency Publicis Luxe and director Quentin Deronzier, known for his work on music videos for artists like Drake and Orelsan, co-created the campaign.
Inspired by the transition from real life to a fantasy world set in an avant-garde galaxy, the campaign serves as a contemporary invitation to explore one’s own potential and live limitlessly, just like Hunter.
