LOOK: Uniqlo’s fall-winter 2022 collection is future-proof

The new LifeWear Collection takes a holistic approach to fashion

Japanese retail giant Uniqlo continues to offer innovative pieces through their fall-winter 2022 collection “Today’s Classics.”

Staple pieces in one’s wardrobe may evolve through time. From the shape, silhouette, materials, and production processes, fashion pieces develop as technology does. And for Uniqlo, these are the things that make up a great wardrobe—classic pieces that have been developed to adapt through time.

“We’ve taken a balanced and holistic approach creating essentials that is made for all by designing classics for today that will last into the future. Uniqlo makes Lifewear for today and for tomorrow,” states the brand.

The Uniqlo Lifewear line for fall-winter 2022 highlights outerwear to suit a wide range of lifestyles and settings. Knitwear has been updated through the use of Wholegarment technology, an alternative knitting method that offers seam-free three-dimensional technique. Also, denim pieces are made with less water, and the jackets are made of recycled plastic bottles.

For sportswear, the items are designed with functionality in mind making them perfect for sport activities and also for everyday wear.

The bottoms for this season lean toward wide silhouettes with pleat,s giving that casual yet classic and clean-looking aesthetic.
