YSL Beauty appoints Lil Nas X as newest ambassador
The ‘Montero’ singer spearheads the brand’s latest campaign
Last week, YSL Beauty teased an announcement of their newest ambassador. Accompanied by a photo featuring a silhouette, the brand captioned “7 letters. Ends at X, starts with L, guess who’s coming?” Fans are quick to guess it was Lil Nas X and they were right! Last Friday, the French maison revealed that the multi-awarded 23-year-old is the latest face for the US.
“I am the new ambassador of @yslbeauty and tho I don’t know what the word means yet I feel very accomplished,” claimed Lil Nas X on his Instagram.
On the campaign, the “Old Town Road” singer rocked a glitter eye look, shimmery lips, and black nail polish while wearing an all-black leather ensemble. He’s also seen modeling the brand’s NU Skin Tint, The Bold Lipstick Formula, and the Lash Clash, which is a luxury volumizing mascara with intense pigment.
Lil Nas X is the latest addition to YSL Beauty’s roster of ambassadors which includes Dua Lipa, Kaia Gerber, Troye Sivan, Rose of Blackpink, and Kai of XO.
