LOOK: Song Kang is Penshoppe’s newest ambassador

The South Korean actor shared details about his personal style

“Forecasting Love and Weather” actor Song Kang joins Penshoppe’s list of global ambassadors as he spearheads the campaign for Penshoppe’s newest line, Retro Pop Collection. 

Retro Pop Collection is a capsule consisting of vintage-themed classic pieces perfect for everyday casual wear. The collection includes pieces in muted colors consisting of hoodies, t-shirts, pants, and accessories. 

Song Kang joins fellow endorsers including Blackpink’s Lisa, Astro’s Cha Eun Woo, actor Nam Joo-Hyuk, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner. “Song Kang’s charismatic energy complements Penshoppe‘s personality as a brand. Song Kang is a great addition to Team Penshoppe, and we are excited for fans to see more of him through our campaigns in the coming days,” shares Jeff Bascon, vice president for Penshoppe’s Brand Management. 

When asked about his personal style, the actor shares that Penshoppe’s vibe actually matches his perspective. “My personal style is quite casual,” Song Kang explains. “Rather than dressing up, I prefer a more comfortable and trendy style. I’ve always been quite interested in fashion, so I try to be attentive to new trends, which I think Penshoppe [can help me with].”

Song Kang also mentions that he is looking forward to experiencing diverse culture and style as well as hoping to visit the Philippines soon. For now, he leaves a message to his Filipino fans saying, “I’m so grateful for all the love and support that my work has received all the way from the Philippines. Your supportive messages mean so much to me. Please look forward to my future work, including my new role as Penshoppe’s endorser! I hope everyone stays healthy and happy this year.”
