It’s been a long time coming but it’s here now. For Paul Rudd’s fans since “Clueless,” it’s finally happened, Josh has been named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2021.
For People’s Nov. 22, 2021 issue, the publication added the “Ant-Man” actor to their annual roster of Sexiest Man Alive. At 52, the actor told People he plans to own the reputable title saying, “I mean I’m going to lean into it hard. I’m going to own this. I’m not going to try to be like ‘Oh, I’m so modest.’ I’m getting business cards made. But all of my friends will destroy me and I expect them to. And that’s why they’re my friends.”
He also teased about being in the list with other A-list actors. “I’m hoping now that I’ll finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners with Clooney and Pitt and B Jordan,” he said. “And I figure I’ll be on a lot more yachts. I’m excited to expand my yachting life. And I’ll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I’m looking forward to that.”
Paul is now part of the Sexiest Man Alive list together with other big Hollywood actors who have headlined the feature including Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, Idris Elba, David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Keanu Reeves, to name a few.
This November, Paul is set to be seen on screen with his series “The Shrink Next Door” and “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
