Louis Vuitton teams up with Maison Tamboite for a monogramed bicycle line
The designer bike roughly costs P1.5 million
French luxury house Louis Vuitton releases a chic collection of monogram-embossed bicycles, a collaboration with fellow Paris-based label Maison Tamboite. Merging the maisons‘ “unique savoir-faire of leather craftsmanship and woodwork,” the collection is an invitation to ride, discover, and experience the world’s horizon, echoing the fashion label’s ethos for the “Art of Travel” campaign.
With a legacy that began in 1912, Maison Tamboite surely knows what makes bicycles that are imbued with Parisian style and sensibilities. The collection features Louis Vuitton’s signature design elements such as the monogram flower chain set and the interlocking “LV,” which are beautifully set on the bikes’ leather saddle, handlebars, and luggage rack. A bike costs $28,900, which is almost 1.5 million in Philippine peso.
