This new Crocs collaboration is inspired by fingerprints
Designer Salehe Bembury gives own twist to the famous footwear
Crocs is popular for teaming up with artists like Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, Diplo, and Rico Nasty. Now, the collaboration once again expands as the shoe brand adds American footwear designer Salehe Bembury to their list.
Salehe’s credentials include previously designing for Yeezy Gap and Cole Haan, as well as being vice president of sneakers and men’s footwear at Versace. Now, the designer finally unveils his latest collaboration with Crocs.
The American creative shared a glimpse of his project back in April 2021 when he posted a quarter of the sole. In another post, he featured a black and white palette with co-branded ankle strap. Now, the designer has unveiled Crocs x Salehe Bembury in its full glory.
The footwear features white textures reminiscent of his signature fingerprint motif as black translucent detailing materializes on the toe cap. Also, it boasts of shape cut-outs which helps with breathability.
The release date has yet to be announced so stay tuned on his socials.
