Sci-fi action prevails at the 2022 Alyx presentation

The brand heralds futuristic cuts, strong lines, and thrilling textures

While most designers opted to present their assemblage in bright environments, Alyx designer Matthew Williams decided to show his collection in the volcanic beach and black landscapes in Stromboli, Italy. 

Leather jackets with boxy silhouettes in white, black, and cream coasted the scene while strong-lined coats appeared on a desert-like trail. There were also some pops of color with yellow, red, and purple, reminiscent of lava glazing the island. A couple of womenswear pieces materialized on the presentation featuring textured halter dresses looking like ashes being blown by the wind.
