Style Spotlight: Timothée Chalamet on his Oscars stumping route
We all have that friend who puts up “poetic” posts about Call Me By Your Name at least once a day on Facebook and/or Instagram. And they all have a serious Timothée Chalamet problem.
Well, we can’t blame them. Despite his initial missteps in handling his decision to work in the latest Woody Allen film, especially in the era of #TimesUp—his form of reparation for said missteps deserves a slow clap, BTW—Chalamet is charming. Plus, he’s young; the discussions he had to have with his management (and maybe his conscience) while on his first major campaign for an Academy Award is just a very public version of growing pains, and we can only hope that he learns from it.
As the 22-year-old actor stumps for a Best Actor Oscar, he displays quite the dapper style on the red carpet. Yet as well-put together as his looks have been, no one forgets that Chalamet is still in his early 20s.
