SUNMI, mooncakes, and a luxury staycation

Okada Manila turns Mid-Autumn into a resort-wide escape filled with music, indulgent treats, wellness experiences, and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer

Mid-Autumn has always been about coming together, but in 2026, there’s no reason the celebration has to stop at dinner. At Okada Manila, the occasion becomes an excuse to check in, slow down, eat well, and make a little more time for the people you actually want to see.

Running from August 24 to October 7, 2026, the resort’s “One Full Moon, Countless Moments” celebration brings the season to life across its spaces, with everything from limited-edition chocolate mooncakes to glowing moon displays designed for lingering and, naturally, a few photos.

The biggest draw comes on October 3, when K-pop icon SUNMI takes the stage at Cove Manila for Golden Moon Melodies. She’ll be joined by The Voice of the Philippines champion Mitoy Yonting and The Draybers, giving the evening a mix of Korean pop and Filipino talent.

For those who prefer their celebrations a little slower, there are plenty of reasons to stay beyond the concert. The Retreat Spa offers a chance to properly switch off, while Okada Kids Club keeps younger guests entertained. There’s also Stay and Dine for those who would rather turn the occasion into a full getaway instead of rushing home after dinner.

And then there are the mooncakes. This year, Okada Manila gives the traditional Mid-Autumn treat a decidedly indulgent twist with seven premium chocolate creations. Reward Circle members receive 10 percent off, while guests and partner groups purchasing 10 boxes or more can also enjoy the same privilege.

Ultimately, that’s what makes this Mid-Autumn celebration feel less like a single event and more like a reason to pause. Come for SUNMI, stay for the mooncakes, book the spa, take the family, or simply check in and enjoy doing absolutely nothing for a change. Sometimes, reunion deserves more than one evening.
