The Souk Pop-up matcha festival arrives at Glorietta

Matcha brands, bakers, and lifestyle labels gather for a three-day event

If you’ve been deep in your matcha era, mark your calendar. The Souk Pop-up Matcha Festival is taking over the Glorietta Activity Center from March 14 to 16, bringing a vibrant celebration of ceremonial-grade green tea to the heart of the city.

Organized by Souk Pop-up, the three-day event gathers some of the metro’s most beloved matcha makers, pastry chefs, and lifestyle brands for a curated weekend of all things green. Whether you’re loyal to a perfectly whisked traditional bowl or curious about the newest matcha-infused desserts, there’s plenty to sip, snack on, and discover.

At the center of the festival is a massive Matcha Market where guests can browse premium powders, professional whisking kits, and ready-to-drink lattes. Exclusive collaborations will also debut throughout the weekend, including limited-edition pastries, indulgent “matcha-misu,” and even savory green tea treats created especially for the event.

Beyond the bites, visitors can explore fashion, accessories, fragrances, and other lifestyle finds, all set against immersive installations and a photobooth by Urbanlens Photobooth to capture every “matcha mood.”

The festival runs daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and admission is free—though arriving early is highly recommended before the most coveted matcha creations sell out.
