AXA Philippines and Toyota Motor Philippines introduce the country’s first Pay-How-You-Drive insurance product
Imagine a world where every driver is cautious. This is the kind of community AXA Philippines and Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) aim to create with their groundbreaking insurance product called Pay-How-You-Drive—the first of its kind in the country.
Connected Toyota Insure is a car insurance program integrated into the My Toyota Connect app, which calculates the premium based on how the vehicle is used. The product utilizes technology that monitors vehicles via a network, promoting safe, secure, comfortable, and convenient vehicle usage. Users can access these features through the same app.
Subscribers will receive a driving score that evaluates their performance in areas such as cornering, braking, and acceleration. A higher score, combined with lower mileage, entitles customers to significant premium discounts, with potential renewal premium reductions of up to 25 percent.
Think of it as a way to minimize risk while earning rewards for driving attentively.
