We’ve got our eyes on Bottega Veneta’s new carryall bag Andiamo
Beautifully handcrafted accessory with ease of form
Bottega Venetta introduces its new carry-all bag, the Andiamo. “Andiamo” in Italian means “let’s go,” which is the very embodiment of this bag. Truly, it is set to go places with its function and style.
The bag was first seen during the luxury house’s summer 2023 collection under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy. “Andiamo is a new expression of the signature intrecciato technique, realized by the expert craftsmanship of Bottega Veneta’s atelier in Italy. Aptly named after the sensation of movement, the bag is as elegant as it is functional,” describes the brand.
Designed by Matthieu, Andiamo’s soft tapered volume also exudes the very principle of Bottega Veneta which is “craft in motion.” The rounded corners of the bag are made entirely of paper calf leather complementing the soft leather body of the bag. Worn over the shoulder or hand-held, a metal knot adorns and fastens its sliding braided straps for adjustment. There’s also a metal hook, a continuation of the Knot family, that has subtle brass detailing to add a sculptural effect to this classic.
The Andiamo is available in small, medium, and large sizes in glacier (a very light teal), fondant (dark brown), barolo (a rich maroon), travertine (beige green), inkwell (dark blue), ice cream (light pale yellow), and white.
