After an extended absence in the music scene, singer-songwriter and rapper Zico comes back with a new appointment as Fendi Korea’s newest brand ambassador.
In line with Fendi’s vision of supporting the young generation of creative talents, the fashion house adds the 29-year-old creative to its family. “Seeing how Fendi has created wonderful projects with different creative talents around the world, I am excited to join the family to do great things together,’’ said Zico.
Zico, a.k.a. Wu Ji-ho, debuted as a leader of boy band Block B in 2011. Three years later, he released his first solo track and continued to build his fan base throughout the years. In 2019, the South Korean rapper dropped his first full-length solo album “Thinking” before his hit single “Any Song” gained popularity on video-sharing platform TikTok.
For his Fendi campaign, Zico wore a matching denim jacket and jeans from the brand’s summer 2022 capsule. The visuals also starred the iconic Peekaboo ISeeU mini and Baguette, exuding the fresh and modern style of millennials today.
Zico joins Lee Min-Ho and Song Hye-kyo as Korean ambassadors of the house.
