LOOK: Oakley revives 1992 eyewear silhouette Sub Zero
Thirty years after, it still weighs next to nothing
The last thing athletes need are unstable and restricting gears, may it be apparel or accessories. With this, Oakley brings back its iconic Sub Zero lenses which protects the eyes from the elements without hindering performance.
“Oakley reintroduces its iconic Sub Zero sunglass, 30 years after its initial release in 1992. Originally inspired by the future, Sub Zero’s ‘90s design aesthetic has been revived from the past with Prizm Lens Technology in its unique shield lens design. Unobtainium nosepads provide no-slip grip in this piece of Oakley history that was designed to weigh next to nothing,” details the brand.
The design features its original tilted D-shaped lenses, strong yet light O Matter frame, and non-slip nose and ear grip. It is also available with Oakley’s Prizm lens technology, enhancing color and contrast for a more detailed view.
