LOOK: ‘Stranger Things’ is nearing its end with upcoming new season premiere
Series producers the Duffer brothers also wrote an open letter to fans
Things in Hawkins are looking up (or down) as Netflix announces the comeback of one of the most loved series, “Stranger Things.” Season four’s release has been announced today and we cannot wait until its premiere on May 27.
The season will pick up from the destruction of Hawkins caused by the Battle of Starcourt and the split-up of the group. “Our group of friends are separated for the first time–and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down,” shares Netflix.
Aside from the announcement of the premiere, series producers, the Buffer Brothers also wrote an open letter to fans where they talked about the script, the run time, and what’s more to come in season four and season five, which will be the series-ender. Read their letter below.
“Stranger Things” 4 Volume 1 premieres May 27 and Volume 2 premieres July 1.
