Tod’s gets supersized dots for collaboration with Hender Scheme

Remember when Tod’s teased its collaboration with Hender Scheme back in July this year? Finally, the muffin looking material has been given clarity with the reveal of its team-up with Japanese designer Ryo Kashiwazaki.
“Throughout the capsule collection, @henderscheme has incorporated the iconic pebble sole of the @tods Gommino – the inspiration for the ‘TODS⇄DOTS’ concept. By reinterpreting the pebbles size, proportion, and position the brand blends the contemporary vision of Hender Scheme with TOD’S history. The nuanced and modern approach was translated into the objects, in particular in the maxi pebble sole, embodying the concept of the exclusive collection at its best – pebbles = dots,” states Hender Scheme on an Instagram post.
