Uniqlo announces its fall-winter 2021 collaboration with White Mountaineering

Two Japanese brands, one outstanding outwear capsule

Uniqlo has just announced its upcoming fall-winter 2021 collaboration. This time with another Japanese apparel maker, White Mountaineering.

The announcement came with visuals of snow-coated slopes which we’re guessing is the inspiration of the collection. “A world of snow and stone, enveloped in limitless quietude and mystery, stretches off into the distance. The mountains are another world, one of the more honest spaces on earth,” the brand details.

Designer Yosuke Aizawa

White Mountaineering was founded by Yosuke Aizawa back in 2006 with the concept “the field in which we wear clothes is all outdoors.” The brand fuses design, utility and technology to create goods without compromising their personal values. In 2016, he released collections at Paris Fashion Week and has done collaborations with brands like Saucony, Adidas, and UGG.

Uniqlo x White Mountaineering has yet to announce what apparel pieces will be part of the capsule. Stay tuned on their socials for more info.
