We’re having an understated disco fever moment

With hopes of having this collection as the last one while in a lockdown, Alexander Mattiussi’s latest collection married two feelings while in quarantine: peculiar and hopeful. Staged in an abandoned amusement park, the creepy background strangely matched the party vibe of his lookbook which involved looks made for the dance floor. 

‘80s boxy blazer, sheer tops, sparkly halter dresses, hot pants, and tie-dyed pieces ruled his eerie runway flooded with haze and red light. Imagine a dance floor filled with smoke while lights flash from the disco ball as your head turns upside down from being stylishly intoxicated. This presentation will surely make the party animals miss clubbing.
