Birkenstock opens at Megaworld Lucky Chinatown Mall
Last June 26, 2021, German footwear brand Birkenstock welcomed its patrons to a new retail space in Manila, showcasing its latest collection filled with exciting colors and never-before-seen prints. Megaworld Lucky Chinatown Mall houses the new concept store with its interiors made of cork, leather, and jute–the brand’s core materials.
“We are excited to open our first new retail concept in the Philippines with a completely different look and feel, but still unmistakably Birkenstock,” said Carlo Cecilio, Philgear International Inc. brand manager.
Birkenstock also released two new store exclusives during the opening. “Birko Flor Ethno Mocha features an ethnic print, which is inspired by the boho style. It is one of the first few releases available in vegan. Taormina Oiled Leather is similar to our Mayari sandal with a slim black strap for extra security,” Carlo continued.
Birkenstock Lucky Chinatown Mall, as the first out of several mono-brand stores under the Primer Group of Companies to be opened this year, aims to welcome guests to a new shopping experience. Also, the brand plans to expand more in other prime locations nationwide.
