BTS for Louis Vuitton: KPop idols join luxury brand as house ambassadors

The Korean pop superstars appeared in the 2021 Grammy Awards in matching black and tan Louis Vuitton ensembles, turning out to be a forthcoming of their ambassadorship with the French luxury fashion house.

From Samsung, Live Smart, and now Louis Vuitton, BTS is taking not only the music industry by storm but also in every market. The Grammy-nominated band—with members RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—was announced as Louis Vuitton ambassadors through a post on the luxury brand’s social media accounts.

“BTS for Louis Vuitton. Joining as new House Ambassadors, the world renowned Pop Icons @bts.bighitofficial are recognized for their uplifting messages that impart a positive influence. Louis Vuitton is pleased to welcome members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook,” the post said.

Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director for men also expressed his excitement with the team-up through a post saying, “I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds a modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture.”
