Remembering fashion designer Jeffrey Rogador

Announced Tuesday, December 1, 2020, streetstyle fashion designer Jeffrey “JR” Rogador passes away at the age of 42. The full details of the designer’s passing has yet to be confirmed by close friends and family members.

Garage has been a longtime collaborator of the designer. In 2016, his “Prints and Patterns” pieces appeared on our cover worn by David Licauco, Gil Cuerva, Daniel Velasco, and Erie Obsena.

One of Rogador’s early showcases of design was his college years as a Fine Arts student at the University of Sto. Tomas, where he would design dance costumes for the Salinggawi Dance Troupe which he was a part of.

The fashion designer has also engaged in collaborations with Levi’s and Jag, as well as with Binibining Pilipinas, Girbaud, Converse, Folded & Hung, and many more.

Rogador has also presented season after season on Philippine Fashion Week where he displayed his skills as an urban streetwear designer. Here’s a lookback at some of his memorable collections.
