Feel like a character straight out of Stranger Things with the latest H&M collection
The third season of Stranger Things won’t be premiering until July, but H&M is already excited about it. In fact, the Swedish fast fashion brand has announced a collaboration with the hit Netflix series, and the resulting capsule collection is a Stranger Things-inspired range of clothing, swimwear, and accessories for both men and women, with the campaign shot at the instantly recognizable Hawkins Community Pool.
In its third season, Stranger Things will introduce new locations around the fictional town of Hawkins, and H&M has exclusive rights to translate the show’s storytelling into fashion. For this summer collection, graphic t-shirts, tank tops, shorts, playsuits, swimwear, and a range of poolside accessories pay homage to the show’s ’80s styling and lazy summer days by the pool. Designed by both H&M’s in-house team and Netflix, the pieces feature retro-modern silhouettes done in the Stranger Things color palette of black, red, and white, with fuchsia pink and teal appearing in some of the women’s garments, and the Stranger Things logo also making an appearance on various garments and accessories. Items from the collection will be seen in the series.
The campaign stars actor Dacre Montgomery, who plays Billy Hargrove in the show.
H&M x Stranger Things 3 capsule collection will be available starting on May 23 at all H&M stores nationwide.
