Lookbook: The ’90s nostalgia rolls on with the MOSCHINO [tv] H&M collection
MTV, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, compact disks, chains, leather dungarees, hoodies, trunks—the Moschino [tv] H&M collaboration distilled the ’90s into a line that can be worn by everyone.
“Whenever I design, I think about my friends. The Moschino [tv] H&M lookbook is like a party: Celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity and the energy of the people and the collection,” Jeremy Scott, Moschino’s creative director, said in a statement. He had gathered a number of his friends to be the names and faces of the collection, which embodies the fashion brand’s signature pop glamor, street attitude, and humor: RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 winner Aquaria; twin influencers Amiaya; Scott’s assistant at Moschino Sakura Bready; and Pablo Olea, Scott’s best friend and head of Moschino’s Global PR and Communications. “This is a loud and proud collection for everyone to share in the fun, no matter who you are or where you are from,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor.
Here’s the look book that was shot and styled by Scott’s long-term collaborators, photographer Marcus Mam and stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.
The Moschino [tv] H&M collection will be available in selected stores worldwide and online starting on November 8.
