Meet the reverse-aging Air Force 1

This Nike sneaker is dirty by design and gets cleaner with time and wear
Nike just dropped a new twist on an old classic: the Air Force 1 Low “Dirty Triple White.” At first glance, they look like someone already wore them through a summer festival, a skate park, months lifting in the gym, and maybe a mild apocalypse. But plot twist—they’re meant to look like that. And even weirder? They get cleaner the more you wear them.

These kicks come with a worn-in, scuffed-up look straight out of the box. But hidden underneath that grungy top layer is a crisp, clean AF1 waiting to shine through. The dirt? It’s a scratch-away coating that fades over time, revealing a fresher version of the shoe as you actually live your life in them.
The details are just as fun: the sockliner has a little footprint illustration to celebrate the marks made, and the box comes with classic AF1 laces plus UV-reactive ones that fade in sunlight for a cool, vintage effect. There’s also a toothbrush included because Nike has jokes, and apparently, a sense of irony.

The Dirty Triple Whites are part of the “Smoke and Mirrors” pack and dropped on May 7 for $130. Basically, they’re a wearable time machine. One that starts messy and ends… less messy.
