ICYMI: Here are the highlights from BGC Passionfest 2023

See you again next year!

It was two days of non-stop celebration of culture and passion at the recently concluded BGC Passionfest 2023. With the theme “Color and Culture Festival,” the event played host to everyone’s passion, ranging from food, sports, music, to sustainability.

Last Nov. 25, the event kicked off with the Passion Parade and the Passion Music Fest, featuring performances by The Diegos, DJ Honey, and the percussion performance group TAGO brought by the Korean Cultural Center.

In addition to the music fest, other attractions included the Global Fusion Block, celebrating the best of food and culture from around the world with over 60 stalls. Renowned Polish chef Aleksander Baron and his sous chef Agnieszka Kraszewskaalso hosted cooking demonstrations during the event. In the Go Green Zone, organizers launched the newest set of electric bikes and scooters from Moovr. The zone also served as the home of the social enterprise Urban Farmers, who hosted various workshops on practicing sustainability.

Cherry Avenue hosted a range of activities through their Coke Music Lounge, games, and even a TikTok Station, while the Neutral Zone invited everyone with its many interactive activities including Toby’s Open Chess Games and Chess Competitions, complemented by workshops for kids from Playscape!

Another highlight of the event was R.O.X. Red Rush District, bringing the experience of the greater world all the way to BGC. R.O.X. brought its R.O.X. Outdoor Festivals to Passionfest with over 30 global R.O.X. brands showcasing fun and engaging activities, including presentations of the summer, fall, and winter collections of Quiksilver, ROXY, DC, Billabong, RVCA, Revibe, Salomon, Columbia, and The North Face.

The event also provided a good opportunity for travelers and adventurers to connect with each other as R.O.X. launched the R.O.X. community. This online platform is bridging the gap between thriving outdoor communities and their need for a specialized virtual one-stop shop for all their gear.
