Gab Lagman brings athleisure style to the next level

Asics continues to dominate the market by launching brand-new collections across its product categories, including Performance Running, Core Performance Sports, and Asics Sportstyle and Apparel.
The launch took place in Bangkok, Thailand, with representatives from the Philippines, including actor Gab Lagman, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, and social media influencers Bea Benedicto and Marline Capones.
“Asics is firmly rooted in the founding philosophy of ‘A sound mind in a sound body’ in a bid to improve both the body and mind through movement in sports and exercises.,” shared Yogesh Gandhi, managing director for Southeast Asia. “The new autumn/winter 2023 collection aims to inspire all within the community to move their bodies to positively impact their mental and physical health.”
During the Performance Running segment, attendees immersed themselves in the brand’s philosophy of “Sound Mind, Sound Body” through revamped legacy models such as the Gel-Cumulus 25, Gel Kinsei-Max, and Gel Kayano 30, all of which elevate running performance.
“Really had fun trying the new Gel Kayano 30. Solid for running and stability workouts,” shared Gab Lagman in one of his social media posts.
The Core Performance Sports section introduced attendees to the brand’s latest lineup, prominently featuring the limited-edition Gel-Resolution 9 Tennis Shoe created in collaboration with German fashion house Boss. Originally designed for Italian Tennis champion Matteo Berrettini, the footwear merges the sports brand’s advanced technology for baseline players with Boss’s sleek and modern design aesthetics.
As for the latest Sportstyle, the line introduces its cafe project within the venue. A pioneer in its category, the latest collection blends form, function, and fashion, reimagining the GT-2160, Japan S ST, and EX89 with enhanced cushioning and new flashes of colorways.
