ICYMI: Hyunjin of Stray Kids appointed as Versace global ambassador
‘Donatella believes I have the Versace attitude,’ shared the ‘Maniac’ singer
In May 2023, we witnessed Hyunjin attending the “La Vancanza” fashion show, seated next to singer Troye Sivan. A month later, the Italian luxury brand announced the official appointment of Hyunjin, the Stray Kids’ rapper, as a global ambassador for the maison.
“I am delighted Hyunjin is joining the Versace family,” said Donatella Versace. “I am constantly inspired by new voices defining culture around the world and for me Hyunjin has great new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. He is a true Versace man.”
In response, the singer expressed his gratitude to the house. “I’m so excited to be starting my Versace journey as a global ambassador and to make beautiful moments together,” shared Hyunjin. “I am both inspired and honoured to play a part in the House’s truly amazing heritage, and that Donatella believes I have the Versace attitude! I’m filled with anticipation and can’t wait to experience the artistic synergy with Donatella.”
Since the official announcement, the 23-year-old rapper has been showcasing Versace pieces on Stray Kid’s Instagram feed. In one post, he wore a black Versace hoodie paired with the Medusa Biggie Sunglasses. The following post featured him sporting a Versace belt and earrings.
Hyunjin is the newest addition to the Versace house ambassadors, which includes Dua Lipa, Dwayne Wade, Chris Lee, and Anne Hathaway, among others.
