‘DUNE: PART TWO’: The plot thickens as Paul Atreides fights for love and family

Watch the action-packed trailer as it introduces more antagonists

Even though “Dune” Part 1 lasted more than two hours, the film still left us yearning for more. As the first half of the year comes to a close, Warner Bros. Pictures presents us with a teaser for the upcoming sequel, “Dune: Part Two.”

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, the sequel is said to delve into the mythic journey of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) as he joins forces with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen in his quest for revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Paul will face a difficult choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, in order to prevent a terrible future that he can only foresee.

In addition to the protagonists from the previous film, the trailer also provides a glimpse of Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh), Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austine Butler), and Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken), who are set to be the antagonists standing in the way of Paul’s success.

Other notable actors in the film include Rebecca Ferguson, Lea Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
