Grab Share continues to expand its service areas
Prior to the pandemic, Grab’s carpool service called Grab Share was one of its popular offerings. However, due to social distancing guidelines, the service had to be suspended. After two years, the company reintroduced Grab Share but only in limited areas such as Makati, BGC, Manila, and Ortigas.
This month, Grab announced that it has added more areas to its pool, including Mandaluyong, Pasig, San Juan, Pateros, and select areas in Paranaque and Quezon City.
Grab Philippines Senior Director for Strategy and Operations Ronald Roda said, “Every Filipino deserves unfettered access to safe, reliable, and more affordable means of transportation, and we are fully committed to help make that a reality for everyone. We are optimistic that as we expand GrabShare’s service areas to more cities in Metro Manila, we are staying true to our commitment – continuing to play an active role in providing a better mobility experience for everyone.”
Apart from expanding its service within Metro Manila, Grab also aims to provide rides to patrons outside the metro. However, the company reminds passengers to continue practicing health and safety protocols while on the road.
