Honor Philippines officially launches the X8a
Smartphone brand Honor has officially launched its latest offering, the Honor X8a, to the market. The newest addition to their X line offers users extra style and power.
Available in three colorways: Cyan Lake, Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black, the device features a 6.7-inch edgeless display with a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio, weighs only 179 grams, and boasts a 100-megapixel ultra-clear lens, providing DSLR-like image quality.
Garage was able to test the phone and take photos of recent activities. But before we show you the images we took, we would like to discuss what impressed us the most.
Hardware and software
This new phone comes equipped with a 4600 mAh battery that can support all of your activities for the day and even the next day. Whether you use it for entertainment or work, one charge will deliver three hours of music streaming, 13.5 hours of video playback, 11 hours of short clip browsing, or 16 hours of social media exploring.
Display color calibration
Aside from the elevated true-to-life colors, the phone’s light is certified by TÜV Rheinland and is packed with low blue light technology to reduce harmful blue light, making it ideal for those who spend long hours engaging in visual entertainment.
Intelligent camera system
In addition to the 100 MP triple rear camera system (which is the highest megapixel count on the X series), this phone boasts a 5MP wide and depth camera, macro camera, and a 16MP front camera for high-definition selfies. Industry-level artificial intelligence technology optimizes images, enabling users to take crisp and striking clear photos with ease.
Pricing and availability
Considering all its capabilities, we were surprised to find that this smartphone retails for only P10,990 and comes with earbuds worth P1,590 if you order from March 14 to 24, 2023, at all Honor kiosks and partner online stores like Lazada, Shopee, and Tiktok Shop.
